Sony Xperia L Pre-order, priced at Rs. #18,990
A new mid-range smartphone from Sony will soon be available in the Indian market. This device is called the Xperia L and it is already up for pre-order with online retailer Infibeam.
The Xperia L was announced with the Xperia SP, a couple of months ago. The Xperia L is a slightly affordable device when compared to the Xperia SP.
This Sony smartphone is being targeted to photography enthusiasts. It sports an 8 megapixel camera which supports HDR mode for photos and HDR recording for videos. The device also features a dedicated camera key.
Other features of the Xperia L include a 4.3-inch FWVGA (854×480 pixels) resolution display. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor which is clocked at 1GHz. It also includes an Adreno 305 GPU, 8 GB of built-in storage and a microSD card slot which supports expandable memory up to 32GB.
In terms of the connectivity the device support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G HSPA and GPS/aGPS connectivity. It also sports a NFC chip on the back and a secondary front facing VGA quality camera.
Finally, there is a 1,900 mAH battery, the company says it can provide up to 454 hours of standby and up to 9 hours of talk time on 3G. It is priced at Rs. 18,990 and this is not the official pricing.
